Client: California Polytechnic University of Pomona - The Poly Post

Description:
Being a part of a team of 4 designers, we worked together for about 8 months to create dynamic and innovative spreads for The Poly Post's Bronco Guide.
Working with the editorial team who wrote all the stories, the design team created a new spread weekly. Working with the talented team was easy, yet a challenge that we faced was being sure that the magazine still had a cohesive appearance. Therefore, as a team, we would meet once a week and critique one another’s spreads. Not only to better one another’s designs but to also be sure that we were all following the design guide that was created.
You can currently pick up your copy of the Bronco Guide on Cal Poly's Campus where more than 12,000 copies were printed.

Design Guide
By creating a Design Guide for the team, we were able to develop a compelling color palette and typeface. This ensured that despite all of our unique styles we would be able to create a cohesive magazine.

Summer Bronco Guide - Solo Project
For the entire school year of 2022-2023 this Media Kit I designed gets sent out to businesses and such to promote the option of buying a spot in the Bronco Guide Magazine.
One of the most iconic buildings at Cal Poly Pomona was the CLA building (the pointy building shown on the right side of the illustration.) The CLA building was taken down in 2022 so the Media Kit is paying tribute to it.
I also choose to use bright and vibrant colors to captivate the brand feeling of The Poly Post. The playful type and bright colors made the flyer eye-catching and on-trend.
