Professor Raymond Kampf provided me with the initial concept layout of the front of the postcard. The icons of the various rides from Fauxtopia (shown on top of the pink color) were created by Kampf, then I utilized them on all campaign elements. Over 4,000 postcards were printed and distributed throughout the Cal Poly campus. The back of the postcard with the colorful polygon shapes was designed by me and the colorful polygons were then used throughout the campaign.

Client: Professor Raymond Kampf & The Kellogg and Huntley University Art Galleries
Description:
Professor Raymond Kampf had a sabbatical art exhibition at Cal Poly Pomona in the Huntley Art Gallery titled "Treasures of Fauxtopia Artifacts, Memorabilia and Souvenirs from The Most Believable Place on Earth." His exhibition needed to be promoted in many various ways, thus I created many graphics using his artwork including: a postcard, an e-mail blast, 4 marquees, 5 various a-stands, digital display GIF, digital signage ad image to be used in the library, a Knowledge Center Kiosk image, a website library ad, 3 Facebook covers, 4 Instagram Squares, a poster announcement, 31 lapel tags, 2 EventBrite banners, a “for sale” sign, 3 ASI marquees, and even a Tiktok. This project was done over 8 months where I learned how to work with a client and how to distribute designs digitally and printed.

Animated GIF
Professor Kampf asked me to create a GIF with all of the necessary information to promote the show. We wanted to create something eye-catching and had the same fun colors and elements that were used throughout the campaign. Above is the GIF I created that was then put on the digital displays on the Cal Poly Pomona Campus.

For all printed materials I was required to get approval from the gallery director. After the design was approved by the director and client, it was my responsibility to prepare the print-ready file and send it to our various print shops.
